If you’re hoping for excitement, noise and more fun than you can with stand, then craps is the only game to enjoy.
Craps is a fast-paced casino game with whales, low-rollers, and anyone in the middle. If you’re a people-watcher this is one game that you’ll want to watch. There’s the high roller, buying in with a large amount of money and making loud declarations when he wagers across the board, "five hundred and twenty dollars across," you will hear him state. He’s the person to observe at this table and he knows it. They will either win big or lose huge and there is nothing in between.
There is the budget gambler, most likely trying to acquaint himself with the high-roller. He will inform the other bettors of books he has read on dice throwing and hang around the hottest tosser at the craps table, eager to talk and "pick each others brains".
My favourite players at the table are the true gents from the good old days. These senior gentlemen are generally patient, generally gentle and will frequently offer hints from the "good old days."
There are many other characters that you’ll see around a busy Craps table. When you jump in and commit to join the game, make certain you utilize proper etiquette. Find a place on the rail and place your $$$$ in front of you in the "come" area. Never do this when the dice are in motion or you will become known as the last personality I wanted to mention, the jerk.
